Providing Help ~ Creating Hope

As a member organization of Catholic Charities USA, Catholic Charities of Ashtabula County recognizes the virtues of charity and justice in all relationships with staff, volunteers, the people served and the larger community.

          All of the services offered at Catholic Charities of Ashtabula County strive to reduce poverty, support families, and empower communities.

During 2007, the services offered reached over 11,000 people in Ashtabula County.  Approximately 70% of those served (where household income is tracked) were at or below the federal poverty guidelines.         

The poverty level for a family of four during 2007 was $20,650.

Volunteer opportunities are available for those interested in providing help and creating hope.
